Boogie Vice debuts with Deep Aztec

Boogie Vice debuts with Deep Aztec on Get Physical in January delivering new single ’Get Down’, accompanied by a remix from N-You-Up.

Parisian talent, Boogie Vice has rapidly gained momentum since making his debut in 2014, hitting Beatport’s Nu Disco chart upon release with his tracks ’Bel-Air’ on Erase Records and ’Bad Girl’ on Sharam Jey’s Bunny Tiger.

A few words on his time in South Africa and the new release from Boogie himself,

“After 5 years of playing a lot in South Africa, and ending the 2019/2020 summer by being lock downed here, I tried to work more and more with local artists and make the most of this situation.

This EP is my second collaboration with a South African artist being released. My first one was Western Frequencies with Pierre Johnson, and now Get Down with Deep Aztec, both Capetonian talents.

I always felt the need to give back to this country which is offering me so much joy and adventures. So I am always stoked when I can release collaborations with SA talents on international labels.

Over lockdown time, being left with no gigs for months, I made my best to collaborate even more. I discovered new talents here everyday, and they are all world class! So I have plenty of projects in the making. The vocalists, producers, instrumentalists that I am collaborating with are mainly from Cape Town and a few are from Johannesburg and Eastern Cape.

I can’t wait to release all this!”
